Born in Nottingham, in 1962 Brian Kilcline started his professional career at Notts County in 1980, before moving to Coventry City in 1984, the club he was to go on to make history with.
It was of course in May 1987 when the unmistakable “Killer” lifted the famous FA Cup for his beloved Coventry City for the first (and only) time in their history. The Final, against Tottenham Hotspur which Coventry eventually won 3-2 after extra time, has since gone down in history as a classic, and is regarded as one of the best cup finals to be played at the ‘old’ Wembley Stadium.
Kilcline was known as the ultimate competitor, a passionate, powerful and loyal footballer, and we think this item epitomises those qualities absolutely perfectly.
A perfect addition to any Coventry City supporters collection. Personally signed by Brian (not a reprint), this item comes with a full Certificate of Authentication from CSM UK.
The frame is 22 x 18 inches, and holds the personally signed photograph which is 12 x 16 inches.
