In 1997 Warwickshire won the AXA Life Sunday League. Unfortunately the popular figure of fast bowler Tim Munton did not figure that season due to an injury. The day Warwickshire won the league beating Gloucestershire at Edgbaston (14th September) 1997), Munton of course was present and celebrating with the players after their final game win and wearing this match issue top which was signed by every player that season after the game.
Munton (wearing this game issue shirt) and Allan Donald lifted the trophy together in front of joyous Warwickshire Supporters. This is a very special item and very much part of Warwickshire C.C.C history.
